Worst chicken tenders ever

Posted by paranoidyouth - 5 hours ago

I just had what I think to be the worst chicken tenders ever from my school cafeteria. They tasted bland as fuck and hurt my stomach. Any tips on how I can fix them? I know there's gotta be at least one person who can cook on newgrounds

If i have to eat something that I don't like/taste bad, I always do by stuffing it in bread and drinking lot of water. I love bread and water

But don't follow this "advice" : I'm someone who often choke on my food (often for these reasons lol)

I can cook the best food of all time! No need to eat U.S. approved dogshit, when you have my cooking at your disposal!

if they hurt your stomach I would recommend not eating them, but as far as improving chicken tender flavor my go to choice is either
1. test and incorporate various sauces into the process as to unlock these tenders sauce compatibility.

2. similar to SouSTAR's suggestion, utilizing the chicken somewhere else could be the key. Perhaps purchase some tortillas, lettuce, sauces etc and use the chicken to make a wrap

3. Order popeyes cuz they got the best tenders and no one is convincing me otherwise cry about it

Those things need some seasoning

cheese sauce

Cheese

CHICKEN TENDER

all this needs is some canes sauce.

Outside of Sauces?

Forget It.
Those Things Are Fuckin' Donezzo.

They probably just rolled it in Flour and called it a day.
Any Spice would have had to been added then.

Honestly, you should just kill them ngl.

get some tony chachere's on there my dude, tony's can arguably fix anything

I don’t really miss school food. Except for those crispitos, but I think I can get frozen taquitos for the same experience. May you never have to deal with crappy chicken again.

Pro tip: avoid school canteens.

I once had a slice of pizza out of my schools canteen that tasted like it was stored inside of a hobo's shoe. And the pepperoni was likely carved off the same hobo's back. I'd give it a 3/10, could've been better.

GLAZE THE CHICKEN TENDERS!
take a baking sheet with some parchment paper on it (its ok if you don't it just helps cleaning up afterwards).
put the chicks on it. then glaze em with the your choice of sauce or this one that i make for ribs:

Get a bottle of bachan's japanese bbq sauce and mix it in a cup with some ketchup. bachan's
has kind of a mix of teriyaki and bbq flavor. its very liquidy so add ketchup to thicken it a bit
and it adds more flavor as well.
roughly bbq sauce 6:1 ketchup ratio. ( ngl i kinda eyeball it when i make the sauce)

on your oven set it to like 400. once it goes off stick it in for a couple minutes (like 3-7 minutes. cook it longer if it needs it.) check on it often to make sure it doesn't burn. the glaze should caramelize on the chicken. and then DISH UP!

maybe get a salad with it or top it on some white rice.

idk know how well this would work. there are recipes for glazed tenders that might be a bit different from what i said but should be similar enough.

ask me if you have a question also probably search up a glaze chicken tender recipe to go off from and use it as a guide.

@MrPurpleMrPurple Counter: Popeyes barely tasted like real chicken. When I tried some, it felt like I'm eating fried fish, which I wouldn't be complaining if I'm talking about FRIED SQUID. Or calamari. The only tenders I would arguably die for is Raising Cane's, Checkers' and Rally's, or even KFC. And *maybe* the McCrispy Tenders if you're in the US. Assuming the KFC is good because my LORD do I hate it when there's nothing crispy about it.

If they hurt your stomach I don't think you should eat them

What I usually do is scrape the tender with a spoon or fork to scratch off any soggy breading on the thing, then eat it with sriracha or ranch as is. Atleast it's edible where I'm at.

milk

@BickerySebastian Nuh uh!

they might've gone bad. don't think it's salvageable my friend
